Each Natures Aid Collagen capsule contains 500mg of hydrolysed marine type II collagen with the skin supporting nutrients vitamin C, zinc, copper, riboflavin, niacin and biotin. Collagen is the main structural protein of the various connective tissues in animals and is the most abundant protein in mammals, providing between 25% and 35% of the whole-body protein content. Collagen is mostly found in fibrous tissues such as tendons, ligaments and skin, and is also abundant in corneas, cartilage, bones, blood vessels, the gut, and intervertebral discs.

Natures Aid Collagen Beauty Formula is made using hydrolysed collagen, the most bioavailable form of collagen and is 100% pure marine source (non-shark).

Skin Health- The collagen that is present in the skin is responsible for the cohesion and resistance to damage of this tissue, effectively cushioning the skin and making it both firmer and more elastic. Collagen fibres provide the bulk of the tissues found in the dermis (70%) and accounts for 90% of the dermal volume. Unfortunately, collagen production by the human body decreases from the age of 25 years at a rate of approximately 1.5% per annum and it is this lack of effective production coupled with the natural degradation that explains the appearance of wrinkles, dryness and thinning of the skin.

Joint Health- Collagen found in our joint tissues (type II) is the primary structural protein of cartilage which ultimately provides flexibility and support to the joints. Ageing and wear and tear of the joints combine to effectively reduce the amount of collagen present in the joints and therefore replacing the lost raw ingredients for healthy joint construction is vital to the long term maintenance of healthy joint tissue.

DIRECTIONS

Take 1 capsule per day with water. Do not exceed the recommended intake.
